The purpose of the article is to consider the consequences of withdrawal of the troops of the United States of America and Western countries from Afghanistan, their impact on military and political situation in Central Asian countries. The article focuses on the events related to withdrawal of the US armed forces from Afghanistan. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the situation in the country after the radical Islamic Taliban movement came to power. The author analyzes the internal situation in Afghanistan, highlights a number of events that significantly affect regional security and undermine the state of military security of the countries in Central Africa.
As a result of the research, the author cites the opinion of the world community regarding the new Taliban government. He draws our attention to the fact that the promises made by the Taliban have not been fulfilled.
