The purpose of the article is to analyze the regional features of military physical education and patriotic work in a pioneer organization in the 40-50s of the 20th century.
The article discusses the features and priorities of military physical education and patriotic work in a pioneer organization, based on the analysis of the materials of the Congresses of the Komsomol, Plenums, meetings of the Bureau, the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Komsomol, the Central Council of the Pioneer Organization named after V.I. Lenin to solve these problems. On the example of Oryol region, the authors consider the main areas of this work, including war games, excursions; autumn, winter, spring and summer mass military sports competitions; solemn processions of pioneers to memorials of glory; work of local history circles.
