The article is devoted to the remained insufficiently studied activities of the Crimean Republican Extraordinary Commission for the identification and investigation of atrocities committed Nazi invaders and the damage they caused to citizens, collective farms, public organizations, state enterprises and institutions of the Crimean Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, which worked from 20th of April to May 1945. The article is based mainly on archival sources from the funds of this organization – State Archive of Russian Federation (SARF F. R-7021) and (SARC. F. R–1289), stored in the State Archive of the Republic of Crimea.
