The main purpose of the study is to analyze the journal «Industry and Trade» as the leading mouthpiece of Russian business in the period from 1908 to 1918. It is stressed that All-Russian business organization the Congresses of representatives of Industry and Trade is created in 1906 and the magazine «Industry and Trade» is its printing body. The article is concerned with the main stages and directions of the journal's activity. It is shown that the main function of this mouthpiece is to strengthen the influence of entrepreneurship on economic processes in the country, on the development of the government economic policy, to promote the unification of members of society and strengthening of cooperation between other institutions of the emerging civil society. In conclusion, it should be noted that the lobbying practice of the new union is reflected in the pages of the publication.
